Field of Dreams

One day this will be our MUGA, local lads posing for the LEP photo-shoot yesterday.

pics from field day

another field day success

The weather was kind to us on another cracking field day. The threatened heavy rain which loomed in the background for most of the day didnt break until half way through the evening.

Children in the community participated in traditional track events,on the cross country and in the fancy dress. Meanwhile parents competed in a space hopper relay race.

The event was a brilliant success for the new field day committee, so congrats to Tracy and team, who would I am told welcome any help in next years event.

our walk score and blank on the map

The walk score - as determined by www.walkscore.com - for our area is 0 out of 100 and gives us the car-dependent rating.

And if we look onto www.openstreetmaps.com there are too many blanks and missing roads. Time for some WICE and community action to put us and the facilities in the area on the map.
